Datsun has launched the RediGO, their small SUV that will compete with the likes of the Maruti Alto, at a price beginning at Rs 2.49 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai. The company claims that the RediGO is the first urban cross, and their emphasis is on easy ownership, with a 2 year/unlimited warranty.
The base ‘D’ variant has no air-conditioning, but as you move to the top end ‘S’ variant, you get a driver airbag and daytime running lamps – the latter is a first for the segment. If you order a mid-spec variant, you’ll still get an audio system and power windows. The RediGO offers 25.17 kpl as per ARAI guidelines, and the company claims it has the best acceleration in the segment. There is no ABS available, even as an option – another standard for the segment. The complete list of prices is given below.
