Renault India has recalled the Kwid hatchback. The voluntary action is to inspect its steering system. The company is yet to make an announcement regarding the same, so details right now are scarce at best.
But if you happen to own a Kwid and have received an official correspondence, then it’s best you take the car to the nearest dealership for an inspection — and a repair if necessary. As a Team-BHP post points out, the 800-cc-engined version is affected by the recall, and that the repair costs will be borne by the company.
We shall update you when Renault India shares more information about the recall.
