With the new generation A4 currently in the works, Audi has not forgotten the outgoing model, which is still on sale in North America, Europe, and China. It has recently introduced a new package for the A4 Allroad Quattro called Black Optics Pro.
This package, as its name suggests, adds various contrasting elements in gloss black. These include components like the front windshield frame, the radiator grille, exterior mirrors, and tailpipe finishers. Also covered with the same gloss black layer are the clips in the front side intakes, the rear bumper diffuser, and the tailgate panel between the tail-lights. The Audi badging and the A4 Allroad lettering at the back also come in a gloss black finish.
The rugged off-road inspired wagon with all-wheel drive now also comes in two new colours – Chronos Grey and District Green. A few complementing touches include black roof rails and an available bumper in contrasting Manhattan Grey Metallic colour as part of the aforementioned package.
The Audi A4 Allroad Quattro will continue to be sold with a selection of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The next-generation model from Audi will likely be the last A4 to feature an ICE before the model family moves to purely electric power towards the end of the decade.
