Ultraviolette has announced the launch date for the F77 electric motorcycle, with sales to commence on November 24, 2022. This urban electric sports bike is designed and engineered in India keeping in mind the new-age buyers and taking inspiration from the aviation industry.
Ultraviolette has planned a phased roll-out starting with Bangalore and will make its way to other cities. The company further aims to launch the F77 in Europe and the USA. It claims to have already received 70,000 pre-launch booking interests from 190 countries. Over the past year, Ultraviolette has tested the F77 to the limit under various terrains and weather conditions across the country.
The F77 will be offered in three variants, namely Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. The bike is said to be powered by an electric motor that has a maximum output of 33.5 bhp and 45.8 kgm. This enables it to accelerate from a standstill to 60 kph in 3.0 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 147 kph.
The F77 is powered by Ultraviolette’s in-house battery technology. It gets features such as dual-channel ABS, adjustable suspension, multiple riding modes and regenerative braking among others.
