Finally, after playing the teasing game, Hyundai has unveiled its upcoming mini-SUV, the Exter. Up front, it gets a parametric grille, an H-shaped LED daytime running lights, and projector headlamps in square pods. Coming to the sides, it gets blacked-out A- and B-pillars, squared-off wheel arches housing diamond-cut alloy wheels and roof rails.
Under the hood, the Exter gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired either with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. You can even opt for the CNG version mated to a 5-speed manual. Hyundai’s holding on to the power and torque figures and should unveil them once the car’s launched.
What we do know is that the Exter will come in five variants — EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect. The Exter that you see here sports the new Ranger Khaki dual-tone colour scheme. The Cosmic Blue colour shade is also fresh in Hyundai’s colour schemes on offer. The Exter will be available in six monotone and three-dual tone colour options.
If you like what you see in these two photos, then you can book the Exter by paying Rs 11,000 as the booking amount. You can visit your nearest Hyundai dealership or book online.
