It’s been a long time since the KTM 200 Duke got any updates. Well, KTM has one in the form of an LED headlamp. We know many of us wanted this update on the earlier versions, but it’s better late than never.
This new LED headlamp is the same one that you can find on its elder siblings, the 250 Duke and 390 Duke. To dive more into the details, this LED headlamp unit has an array of 32 LEDs with six reflectors for the beam, along with an LED DRL (daytime running light). Of course, we’ll have to test it out to see how it lights up the road in the night. Apart from that, everything else on the motorcycle remains the same.
It still features the same 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 25 bhp and 1.96 kgm of torque. In terms of cycle parts, it gets a WP upside-down fork up front and a mono-shock at the rear. A 320-mm front disc and a 230-mm rear rotor provide braking power, which is assisted by dual-channel ABS.
If all this tempts you to buy the KTM 200 Duke, then you’ll have to shell out Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). You can either choose between the Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic.
