Having come fresh off of the new Himalayan and the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition concept, Royal Enfield has also given some attention to the used bike segment, given the kind of fandom the bikemaker enjoys throughout the country. Royal Enfield has launched a new business arm dealing with pre-owned motorcycles, cleverly called ‘Reown.’
Reown will help the bike maker gain further access to aspiring customers, as well as making buying/selling motorcycles an easier process. Owners from other brands can also get their two-wheelers exchanged for a pre-owned RE motorcycle. With both, in-store and online access available, customers can easily express interest to sell or buy a Royal Enfield or exchange their existing motorcycle. Customers looking to sell their RE motorcycle can book an inspection by filling out an online form. These motorcycles then go through over 200 mechanical and technical checks, and are refurbished with genuine parts at official RE service centres. Customers who sell their REs on Reown will also be entitled to loyalty benefits, such as genuine accessories worth INR 5000 on their next Royal Enfield purchase.
In order to enhance the customer experience, Royal Enfield has also collaborated with HDFC and IDFC for financing, Adroit Auto for doorstep motorcycle inspections, along with the Shriram group to facilitate exchange programmes from other motorcycle brands, and lastly Olx Autos for easy discovery and accessibility of pre-owned RE motorcycles.
