More from Motoring

You may remember the Chinese brand Benda from last year’s Auto Expo. Even if you don’t, the images of the bike should refresh your memory. While Adishwar Auto Rides’ plans with Benda in India remain a mystery, the European market has now been graced with the LFC 700 Pro cruiser.  And what makes it ‘Pro’ is a couple of badass things that no European or Japanese manufacturer would dare to introduce.

Benda LFC 700 Pro: Air time

At the Auto Expo 2023, Benda Dark Flag was one of the bikes that stole the show with its air suspension. Naturally, the bigger sibling had to have it. In the LFC 700 Pro, the rear suspension lowers the chassis when the bike is stationary or at low speeds. But with a seat height of 695 mm, the tech seems more for just bragging rights.

Benda LFC 700 Pro: Lightin’ it up

You wouldn’t be the only one to wonder if having a ram-air turbine in place of a headlight and a puny LED above it to light up the road in the dark was a right decision. Guess, someone at Benda thought that too and fixed it… with pop-up headlights! Yes, two LED units pop up from the beefy tank extensions. Aesthetic and functional… who wouldn’t love that!

Benda LFC 700 Pro: Inline-four symphony

The Benda LFC 700 Pro remains unchanged mechanically. So, you still get the 676cc inline-four motor that puts out 94 bhp and 6.4 kgm to its massive 300-section rear tyre. Though the company has gone from a 310/35 – 18 rear tyre, it is still the widest one on a stock bike.

You may be wary of the brand knowing it is Chinese, however, Benda is one of the few brands that has been minting original and innovative products. While Adishwar Auto Rides did show a promise of Benda bikes hitting the Indian roads by gracing the Auto Expo, the company has gone silent since. Hopefully, that changes soon and we get the LFC 700 Pro here.
