With the unveiling of the KLX 230, Kawasaki has also announced a list of accessories to customise your motorcycle as per your requirements. Here are a few of those that we think would interest you.
FAT type handlebar
This heavy gauge handlebar will be more durable than the stock unit and should be able to absorb more vibrations without passing it on to the rider.
Hand guard set
The hand guard set is a simple but helpful accessory to protect the rider’s hands from stray rocks and debris while on the track or the trail.
USB outlet kit
This USB type-c power outlet will be useful to charge your phone on the go so that you are never out of charge when you need it.
Low seat kit
For those who feel that the 880mm seat height is too tall, there is the option of a lower seat which reduces the height by 40mm.
Engine guard
For the trail bugs out there worried about dropping your bike, the engine guard is a useful accessory to protect the engine from unforeseen damage while out there exploring.
Skid plate
Even with a ground clearance of 265mm, it makes sense to invest in a skid plate, just in case you scrape the underbelly on a rock that is just an inch too tall.
Frame cover
Again, for those worried about dropping the bike and damaging the frame, these frame covers are quite the lifesaver. They will take the hit to keep your bike safe.
Rear carrier
The rear carrier is a useful accessory for those planning to head out on a long trip and need to mount luggage or a top box onto the motorcycle.
All these accessories will be available as soon as Kawasaki starts deliveries of the KLX 230 at the beginning of January 2025. The price of the KLX 230 as well as its accessories will be revealed at IBW 2024, so stay tuned for that!
