Warner Bros. and Relevance International just gave Batman fans the ultimate collectable: a real, working replica of the Tumbler from The Dark Knight trilogy.
Built by Action Vehicle Engineering, each Tumbler boasts a unique serial number, options for customization, and an authenticity certificate signed by Warner Bros. Discovery-proof that indeed, it’s the real thing. Just don’t plan on taking a city cruise; this legend is built to be owned, period, not street-driven, of course. Because, as we duly know, “Batman has no limits.”
Price and Exclusivity: “You Either Die a Hero, or You Live Long Enough to See Yourself Become a Collector”
For those who dare to possess the above chunk of Gotham, it comes for $2.99 million, about Rs. 250 crore. Only ten such art pieces are offered through ‘The Wayne Enterprises Experience.’
Powertrain: “It’s Not Who I Am Underneath, But What I Do That Defines Me.”
The heart of this Tumbler house is a potent 6.2L LS3 mill churning out a spine-tingling 525 bhp and a monstrous 67.3 kgm of torque. This powerplant comes paired with a GM 4L85E transmission fitted with paddle shifters to keep things raw. To give it that “Batmobile” edge, the exhaust system even simulates a jet engine and makes the Tumbler feel ready to soar across Gotham’s skyline.
Exterior: “I’m Whatever Gotham Needs Me to Be.”
Slathered in black, stealth-ready paint, the Tumbler stretches over 15 feet long and 9 feet wide, standing 5 feet tall and weighing in at an immense 2,500 kg. Constructed of materials fit for the Caped Crusader-kevlar, carbon fibre, fibreglass, and tubular aeronautical steel, this ride is made with the intent to intimidate the joker itself!
And with those four-wheel power disc brakes and those unique 15-inch front and 18.5-inch rear wheels, it’s more than capable of stopping on a dime.
Interior: “Does It Come in Black?”
Inside, the Tumbler is all grit and stealth. Black Alcantara lines the interior, giving it the shadowy feel Batman would insist on. And for true crime-fighter functionality, there’s a smoke screen delivery system and a digital performance dashboard with a 10-inch Lowrance GPS screen, reminiscent of Batman’s tactical dash. It features bespoke seating, one-way mirrored glass, racing-grade seats, and five-point harnesses inside candy for navigating Gotham’s back alleys or just feeling like the Dark Knight himself.
