Ferrari has officially entered the Indian market, and it has now launched the California T at approximately Rs 3.4 crore, ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The California T is a hardtop convertible that generates 552 bhp and 77 kgm from a twin-turbocharged 3855 cc V8 engine. It gets to 100 kph in 3.6 seconds and tops out at 315 kph. Deliveries are expected to begin in October. In the absence of a Lamborghini Huracan roadster, there is currently no real competition to the California T.
Navnit Motors, who has experience in handling other premium brands, has been appointed the dealer for the prancing horse in Mumbai. The Ferrari showroom is expected to open in Bandra-Kurla Complex in October.
