Tesla has made minor refreshments to its Model S sedan and Model X SUV in for the global markets. Priced at a premium of $ 5,000 (approximately Rs 4.3 lakh), the updates include minor design tweaks, updated equipment, and an improved range of around 659 km for the Model S Long Range.

Tesla Model S

The automaker has introduced a new paint colour called Frost Blue, new wheel designs that aid in improving efficiency, a new camera installed in the front bumper for forward visibility, dynamic ambient lighting in the dash and door cards on entry, new adaptive headlights and additionally, in the Model X, more third-row space. The Model S Plaid also features new exterior styling, which the company claims enhances high-speed stability.

Tesla Model X

The updated Tesla Model S and Model X also promise quieter cabins due to a more effective Active Noise Cancellation System. Furthermore, the brand claims that it will offer improved ride quality due to an updated suspension setup. There are a few new and updated design accents, but those would only be noticeable if you are extremely familiar with the Model S and Model X, like the new matte (instead of chrome) front logo.

As for Indian fans of Tesla, numerous test mules of the Model 3 and Model Y have been spotted in India, but there is no clear indication as to when the brand will officially arrive in the country. However, the company is currently hiring staff for its Indian sales operations and is in the process of setting up dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi.
