Tata Motors has elevated the Nexon EV 45’s appeal with a significant technology and style upgrade. The popular electric SUV now features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, enhancing its safety credentials. This impressive new tech package, which includes features like traffic sign recognition, lane centring assist, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking, is available on the new Empowered+ A trim. This top-tier variant is priced at ₹ 17.29 lakh (ex-showroom), a slight premium of about ₹ 30,000 over the standard Empowered+ model, which also benefits from the addition of these active safety functions.
Beyond the cutting-edge ADAS technology, Tata has also added a few more creature comforts to the Empowered+ A trim, such as ambient lighting and sun blinds for the rear doors, making every journey more comfortable and sophisticated.
In a move to offer a more striking aesthetic, the Nexon EV line-up now includes a DARK edition. This new version gives the electric SUV a completely blacked-out exterior and interior, catering to buyers who prefer a bold, stealthy look. This new DARK edition is offered alongside the existing RED DARK edition, which pairs a black exterior with a vibrant red interior. Both the new DARK and RED DARK editions are available with the Empowered+ A trim and come at an additional cost of ₹ 20,000 over the standard variant.
Despite these exciting new additions, the Nexon EV 45’s powerful electric powertrain remains unchanged, continuing to deliver a practical real-world range of up to 370 km on a single charge. This update solidifies the Nexon EV’s position as a feature-rich and compelling choice in the electric vehicle market.
