Ultraviolette has confirmed that its much-awaited upcoming Shockwave Funduro electric motorcycle will use the company’s new 100V architecture and launch in Q1 2027.
According to Ultraviolette, the new architecture is expected to enable stronger power delivery, improved thermal efficiency and faster charging. The company has already implemented them in the Tesseract e-scooter. The Shockwave was conceived as a lightweight motorcycle focused on the riding experience, drawing inspiration from the character of classic two-stroke motorcycles.
The company has also confirmed that the Shockwave will be offered in both single-seat and dual-seat configurations.

Production preparations are already underway, with Ultraviolette setting up a dedicated production line for the Shockwave within its existing manufacturing facility. The company says the Shockwave and Tesseract have been developed in parallel over the past year.
The 100V architecture was first announced for the Tesseract, and its adoption by the Shockwave marks an expansion of the technology across Ultraviolette’s motorcycle portfolio. The two models, however, are intended to offer different riding experiences.
Ultraviolette is yet to reveal the final specifications of the Shockwave. More details are expected closer to its launch in Q1 2027.
