We don’t know about you folks, but we sure love the smell of freshly painted machines. And Kawasaki’s offering two fresh paint options for the Ninja 1000SX: Emerald Blazed Green and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray. This is the only update that you will see on the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, everything else remains rather dry. No new features or engine updates to see here. It’s still packing the same power output of 140 bhp and 11.3 kgm of torque from its 1043cc engine.
Other features on the Ninja 1000SX include the twin-pod LED headlights setup, Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT with a 4.3-inch display and Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres. The sports-tourer also gets the essential electronic aids like cruise control, traction control (three levels), power modes, riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider), quick shifter, ABS, and Kawasaki Cornering Management Function. It gets a 41-mm USD fork up front with 120-mm travel and a gas-charged mono-shock absorber with 144-mm wheel travel. And braking is taken care of by dual 300-mm discs up front and a single 250-mm disc at the rear.
If you cannot resist the idea of the Ninja 1000SX in a Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray, then Kawasaki’s only asking you to shell out Rs 11.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for it. At the end of the day, it’s all a matter of choice because the price remains the same for the one in Emerald Blazed Green.
