Aprilia has introduced refreshed versions of its entry-level models, the RS 125 and Tuono 125, featuring mechanical upgrades and new styling elements. These updates aim to enhance performance and appeal, maintaining their position as strong contenders in the lightweight motorcycle segment.

The most significant change for both models lies in their engines, now compliant with Euro 5+ emission norms. Both motorcycles are powered by a liquid-cooled 125cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 15 bhp of power and 1.2 kgm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The RS 125 comes in two new color options, Kingsnake White and Cyanide Yellow, while the Tuono 125 debuts with bold Viper Yellow and Mamba Grey shades. These updates amplify their sporty and aggressive looks, offering more personalization choices for riders.

The updated models retain their core features, like an LCD instrument cluster, USD forks, rear mono-shock, disc brakes with ABS, LED lights, and 17-inch wheels. Both motorcycles now include traction control as standard, with the option to add a quick-shifter for enhanced convenience and performance.

The updated Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 plan on combining modern engineering with sharp aesthetics, ensuring they stay relevant and competitive in the entry-level motorcycle segment in Europe. As enticing as these crotch rockets seem, it is unlikely that Aprilia will ever get the RS 125 and the Tuono 125 here. But then again, we’ll have the Tuono 457 rolling out of Baramati very soon, so that works just fine.
