Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the updated 2025 Pulsar RS 200 — a bike that has remained largely unchanged ever since its debut. While the fans were hoping for a significant overhaul, this refresh appears to focus on subtle refinements rather than groundbreaking changes.
The 2025 Bajaj RS200 is likely to continue with its twin-projector headlights, which have now become the identity of the motorcycle. Bajaj may not even tinker with the perimeter frame and the underpinnings. That said, we would like to see the new RS200 with a new and not the in-your-face tail light from the current model. And just like the NS200, perhaps USD forks would be a good addition.
On the tech side, the instrument cluster is expected to get a welcome update, possibly featuring Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation like the NS 200.
The RS 200 will retain its core, a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine producing 24.1 bhp of power and 1.9 kgm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs are likely to remain unchanged, to be in-sync with the bike’s intended sporty character.
The Pulsar RS 200 may get a slight hike in the price from its current ₹1.72 lakh (ex-showroom). After a decade, the faired Pulsar is all set to receive an update,, and though it may not turn out to be a substantial one, it was long due for the RS.
And while RS 200 is awaiting its launch, the Indian marque has silently pulled the plug on the Pulsar F250… again. This is just a few months after the company rolled out the 2024 version of the motorcycle. The lackluster demand for the bike seems to be the reason. Looks like the Pulsar 220F is still the sought-after one in the segment.
