The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R made a comeback to the Indian market in January this year, and the Ninja 650 has been upgraded globally as well. But before you start praying for their arrival, these bikes have only received cosmetic upgrades limited to new paint schemes. So, how should you perceive this? Depends on whether you look at the glass half full or half empty.
The new paint schemes for the 2025 Ninja ZX-6R are Pearl Robotic White with Metallic Graphite Gray, and Metallic Matte Dark Grey with Ebony. The 2025 Ninja ZX-6R continues with its 636 cc inline four-cylinder unit, churning out 127 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 7.03 kgm of torque at 11,000 rpm. Suspension duties are taken care of by fully-adjustable Showa units on both ends, while twin 310 mm discs with monoblocs and a single 220 mm disc take care of braking duties.
The Ninja 650 too receives new paint schemes for 2025. Well, the ABS version, to be precise; Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Royal Purple, and Metallic Matte Old School Green with Metallic Spark Black. The 649 cc parallel-twin continues with 67 bhp at 8000 rpm, and 6.5 kgm of peak torque at 6700 rpm. 41 mm telescopic forks and a mono-shock round off the suspension hardware, while braking is taken care of via 300 mm twin petal discs with dual-piston callipers at the front, and a 220 mm petal disc at the rear with a single-piston calliper.
