Aprilia has announced special launch prices for its new SXR GT range in India, with the 125cc and 175cc scooters priced at ₹1.10 lakh and ₹1.30 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom, Maharashtra.
The Aprilia SXR GT 125 hp-e is powered by a 124.45cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 10.6 bhp at 7,400 rpm and 10.4 Nm at 6,200 rpm. The larger SXR GT 175 hp-e gets a 174.7cc engine developing 13.3 bhp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Both engines use a three-valve SOHC layout and electronic fuel injection.
A key highlight of the SXR GT range is its 14-inch wheels. The larger wheels are claimed to improve stability, handling and ride comfort, particularly on longer journeys. Both scooters also get telescopic front suspension and five-step adjustable rear suspension.
The SXR GT 125 gets a 220-mm front disc with CBS, while the 175 gets a 220mm front disc with ABS. Both use a 140mm rear drum brake. The engines are also BS6 OBD II Stage B compliant and compatible with E20 fuel.
The SXR GT 125 is available in Matte Black, Glossy Azzurro and Glossy White, while the SXR GT 175 is offered in Metallic Blue, Matte Black and Matte Green. Both models are now available at Aprilia dealerships across India.
