A new year and a new update for the Bajaj Chetak EV. There’s a new addition to the Chetak lineup — the Premium 2023 Edition. What does it bring to the table? If you were hoping for an increased range with the Premium 2023 Edition, you’d be disappointed because the range remains the same. However, it does get a few updates and three new colourways — Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue, and Satin Black.
Moreover, it now comes with a premium two-toned seat, body-coloured rearview mirrors, a satin black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest castings as standard. The headlamp casing, blinkers, and central trim components are now in Black Charcoal. Another addition to the Chetak Premium 2023 Edition is the all-colour LCD console that displays vehicle information.
Like what you see? Bajaj Auto is accepting reservations for the new scooter, with the EV expected to be delivered in April 2023. The current Chetak range starts from Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), but the Premium 2023 Edition will set you back by Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). In the past, we’ve done a few stories on the Chetak and a comparison story; you can read about it here.
