After a long, long wait, the Pulsar brand is back, and how! It has two all-new Pulsar 250s on offer, the naked street-fighter which is the N250 and the semi-faired street-racer, the F250; you can spec it in either Techno Grey or Racing Red colour. The N250 will set you back by Rs 1.38 lakh, while the F250 is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-Delhi). Of course, it does come with a few handy features like assist and slipper clutch, USB mobile charging, monoshock suspension, to name a few.
The Pulsar 250s have enough features to crown them as the Pulsar brand’s flagship. Starting with the design, Bajaj hasn’t gone overboard with its aggressive styling. Then, there are features like the LED headlight along with LED DRL, LED tail light, analogue tachometer, among other things.
Both the Pulsars are powered by a 249cc DTS-i oil-cooled engine producing 24 bhp and 2.19 kgm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed ‘box along with an assist and slipper clutch as mentioned earlier. Furthermore, it rides on a 100/80 R17 tubeless tyre at the front and a 130/70 R17 at the rear. Braking is carried out by a 300-mm disc and a 230-mm disc at the front and rear respectively, along with single-channel ABS. Weighing only between 162-164 kg, the new Pulsars have a 14-litre tank capacity.
We can’t wait to find out whether the all-new Pulsar justifies its tag of ‘most thrill per cc’. Stay tuned!
