The Suzuki Gixxer gets cool liveries on both its 155cc and 249cc variants. This is just a cosmetic update but a really unique one.
In the entry-level Gixxer series, the Gixxer SF and the Gixxer will now feature a Pearl Mira Red and a Metallic Triton Blue paint scheme. Our favourite new livery, however, is the Triton Blue/Silver livery on the Gixxer SF 250. The blue and silver are an homage to the Suzuki Grand Prix motorcycles of the ‘60s. This retro livery also marks Suzuki’s 100th anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, only the Gixxer SF 250 gets that livery, while the Gixxer 250 gets a new Metallic Triton Blue colour along with Suzuki racing graphics. We’re glad to find this one in its lineup after its debut at the Auto Expo earlier this year.
On the mechanical front things still remain the same. The Gixxer 250s are powered by a 249cc, SOHC engine producing 26 bhp and 2.35 kgm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The entry-level Gixxers are powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine producing 13.4 bhp and 1.41 kgm of torque, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. All the Gixxer bikes feature disc brakes on either end, but only the Gixxer 250s get dual-channel ABS.
