Slated for the first half of 2020, but delayed due to the COVID-19 situation, Hero has finally launched the Xtreme 160R and has even commenced deliveries across India.
With the Xtreme 160R, Hero has achieved a balance between performance and practicality. It’s powered by a 160cc air-cooled BSVI compliant single, which pumps out 15 bhp@8500 rpm and 1.35 kg-m of peak torque. At 4.7 seconds to 60 kph, the Xtreme 160R is quick, but it’s got another trick up its sleeve. Weighing in at 138.5 kg, it has the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. It’s practical, too, with 165 mm of ground clearance.
Moreover, the Xtreme 160R is equipped with plenty of features for its class like full LED lighting, a digital LCD screen and a side-stand engine cut-off feature. The Xtreme 160R with the front disc brake and single-channel ABS starts at Rs 99,950, you can add a rear disc brake for an additional Rs 3,000. All prices being ex-showroom, Delhi.
