For the 2023 model year, Hero has made some substantial changes to the Xtreme 160R. The motorcycle is powered by a 163cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine with four valves. As a result, the engine now produces 16.6 bhp and 1.48 kgm, a minor improvement over the old two-valve engine.
It also gets an updated suspension system. The front fork is a 37-mm KYB upside-down fork, and the rear shock is a seven-step adjustable Showa mono-shock. Other new features include a new LED headlight and updated switchgear. The bike is available with a single or split seat and comes with a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. Oh, and you can choose the new dual-tone colour scheme as well.
If you like the updates on the Xtreme 160R, then you can have one starting at Rs 1.27 lakh, and it is available in three models — Standard, Connected, and Pro. The Standard variant gets a single seat along with a conventional telescopic fork. By the way, you can still get your hands on the Xtreme 160R 2V model, which is sold alongside the new 4V model at Rs 1.19 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
