The modern classic motorcycle from Honda, the H’ness CB350, is faced with a hurdle. The H’ness CB350 was launched at the end of September last year is a direct competitor to the Royal Enfield Meteor. This recall from Honda is specifically related to the H’ness CB350’s transmission.
Honda has identified a different material grade usage in counter shaft of the 4th gear of the transmission, which may lead to a defect upon extensive running or usage of the motorcycle. So far, Honda says that there have been no cases of any failures reported to this date. Honda will begin its recall activity from 23rd March and all the H’ness CB350 customers whose motorcycle is manufactured between 25th November and 12th December will have to visit their nearest Bigwing service centre. All the other customers can still check on Honda’s official website, whether their motorcycle is a part of this recall or not. Also, irrespective of the motorcycle’s warranty status, Honda will carry out the replacement of part free of cost.
