The almost-modular Honda Navi was all about customization when Honda showcased it at the Auto Expo last year. It has since found a lot of homes, and a place in hearts of thousands of Indians. It might take more prominent steps to get the monkey bike culture to India (read this month’s Motoring World to know more) but the Navi has proven itself, for what it is. And the inclusion of two new customisation kits – Chrome and Adventure – is only going to make things better for the smallest Honda automobile on sale. So in total there are three kits now, including the existing Colour customisation kit.
The Adventure kit gets an underbody guard, knuckle protectors, a visor, luggage box, and crash protectors. The taillamp guard looks more prominent, while there’s a headlamp guard, too.
The Chrome kit, on the other hand, also gets head- and tail-lamp guards. But that’s not the point here; as the name suggests, it gets more chrome than usual. There’s also a luggage box, a pipe-type underbody guard, etc.
No mechanical updates have been made: the Navi still uses a 110 cc engine that makes 7.83 bhp. But needless to say, it has got more stylish now, hasn’t it?
