On the occasion of the KTM Duke series celebrating three decades of hooliganism, the folks from Mattigofhen introduced the 2024 versions of the Super Duke R and Super Duke R EVO; a formidable combination of power and advanced technology.
Visual Evolution:
The 2024 Super Duke R features a redesigned LED headlight, new aerodynamic components (tank spoilers and winglets), and a streamlined subframe cover. The lower profile accentuates the compact chassis, contributing to a more muscular appearance.
Engine Upgrade:
Powered by an updated LC8 engine, the bore is increased to 110 mm, resulting in a 1,350 cc displacement. This powertrain delivers an impressive output of 190 bhp at 10,000 rpm and nearly 15 kgm of torque at 8,000 rpm, while also staying Euro 5 emissions compliant. KTM says that the 17.5-litre fuel tank should be good for 300 km in one go.
Riding Dynamics:
New lightweight Michelin Power GP tires with dual-compound technology optimize power transmission to the ground. The Super Duke R features a WP APEX shock absorber with full adjustability for high and low-speed settings, rebound, and toolless pre-load adjustment.
The Super Duke R EVO takes suspension management a step further, with WP Semi-Active Technology, offering variable damping for real-time adaptability to road conditions. Both bikes also feature a new smart LED headlight system, capable of auto-adjusting based on ambient and riding conditions.
Performance Modes:
Both models introduce updated performance and track modes, complete with a lap timer and telemetry stats. Optional features include engine braking control and an updated suspension module for the Super Duke R EVO.

Another ode to this classic series witnesses KTM offer colours that pay homage and resemble the Duke series over its 30-year legacy.
