A year back, in September 2015, MV Agusta revealed the F3 675 and F3 800 RC, a limited edition version of the F3, taking inspiration from the F3 fielded in the Superbike World Championship by the factory ‘Reparto Corse’ team. Although these bikes are not technically any different than a standard F3, their special edition status is due to them sharing the same livery as the race bikes, and is autographed by Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanett, the factory riders; with Cluzel’s autograph is on the right panel and Zanett’s is on the left.
The bike also comes with a standalone glass encrusted plaque which tells you which one of the 250 RCs that you own. To add to the exclusivity, only nine F3 800 RCs has been allotted to India, since MV Agusta doesnt sell the F3 675 here.
The 800cc inline three-cylinder engine remains untouched, with it producing the same-as-before 145.9 bhp and 8.9 kgm, with claimed top speed of 270 kph.
Exclusivity comes at a price, and for these WSBK replicas, one has to fork out Rs 19.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), which is a eyebrow-raising three lakh rupees more expensive than the standard F3 800.
