Kinetic has made a bold return to the Indian two-wheeler market with the launch of the all-new Kinetic DX EV, reviving the iconic DX badge in a modern electric avatar. Priced at ₹1.11 lakh for the DX and ₹1.17 lakh for the DX+ (ex-showroom, Pune), bookings are open for just ₹1,000 via the official website. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in September 2025, with a limited initial production of 35,000 units.
The DX’s design is a blend of nostalgia and innovation, developed in collaboration with Italian designers. It retains the retro silhouette of the original Kinetic but features contemporary elements like a three-slat front grille, metal side body panels, and illuminated badging. The DX+ is available in five shades — Red, Blue, White, Silver, and Black — while the standard DX comes in Silver and Black. A strong metal body, spacious 37-litre under-seat storage, and a wide floorboard make it a practical choice for city dwellers and families.

At the core, the DX gets a BLDC hub motor, pushing the top speed to 90 kph. Paired with a 2.6kWH LFP battery co-developed with Range-X, the DX promises up to 116 km certified range, while the DX+ claimed delivers up to 150 km using Cruise Lock Technology. This setup supports 3,500 charge cycles, ensuring long-term durability.
The DX comes with three ride modes: Range, Power, and Turbo. It also features hill hold, reverse assist, and a 22° gradability. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and adjustable rear shocks. Braking is via a 220mm front disc and 130mm rear drum, supported by a combi-braking system and 12-inch tubeless tyres.

With the new DX, we’ve introduced multiple segment-first features that we’re confident, will make it a favourite in the new era of electric mobility. This marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for Kinetic and for the evolution of electric mobility in India.
The DX+ is packed with tech via the Telekinetics Suite, offering GPS tracking, anti-theft alerts, geo-fencing, ride analytics, and FOTA updates. It also introduces “My Kiney Companion,” a voice assistant that supports 16 Indian languages, delivering alerts and even birthday wishes. A large 8.8-inch digital cluster, built-in speakers with Bluetooth and navigation, and a Kinetic Assist switch add to the tech quotient.
Kinetic offers a 3-year/30,000 km warranty, extendable up to 9 years or 1 lakh km, making it one of the most comprehensive warranties in the EV space. Manufactured at a 87,000 sq. ft. Pune plant, the DX signals Kinetic’s commitment to India’s electric mobility revolution
