Ducati has introduced the BS6-complaint range of the Scrambler in India. These include the Scrambler Icon, Icon Dark and Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro; priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, Rs 7.99 lakh, and Rs 10.99 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom, India). Ducati India has commenced bookings for the BS6 Scrambler range across its nine dealerships in India. Deliveries of said motorcycles will begin from January 28, 2021.
The Scrambler Icon and Icon Dark come equipped with an 803cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder motor which in its BS6-guise makes the same amount of power as before, but the torque figure has fallen, ever so slightly. The 1100 Dark Pro, as the name suggests, comes with a 1,079cc L-twin air-cooled engine. Furthermore, the only change featured on the BS6-compliant 1100 Dark Pro is the introduction of the ‘Dark Stealth’ livery.
The Scrambler Icon, on the other hand, gets a flatter seat design, new aluminium 10-spoke wheels derived from the Scrambler 1100 and an improved suspension setup. There are a couple of other changes too – new headlamp with LED daytime running lights and black cylinder heads. Last but not least, the Icon is now available in Ducati Red and 62 Yellow colour options, while Icon Dark is available in Matte Black.
