Royal Enfield has announced its sales figures for the month of March 2018. The Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer despatched 76,087 bikes, out of which 74,209 were for the domestic market and 1878 were exports.
In comparison to March 2017, when the total sales were 60,113, this is a growth of 27 per cent, while the exports are up by 20 per cent. Cumulative sales figure for 2017-18 is a strong 820,492, an overall growth of 23 per cent, when compared to 2016-17 when the company sold 666,490 units.
Apart from organising rides and events, the company has made its official presence in Argentina by establishing a flagship store in Buenos Aires. Recently Royal Enfield had launched the new Thunderbird X in the Indian market. The more style-orientated motorcycle also happens to be the first of the recent REs to feature factory-fitted alloy wheels. You can read more about it here.
