More from Motoring

Royal Enfield has marked the culmination of its 125th anniversary celebrations at EICMA 2026 in Milan with the launch of the new Himalayan 750, its first 750cc motorcycle, and the unveiling of the Continental GT 750. The manufacturer also showcased the Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler, a limited-edition Shotgun 650 called the ‘Son of a Gun’, and a new 1901 apparel collection.

The biggest announcement was the Himalayan 750, which gets an all-new 743cc, air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine. It produces 63 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, with 90 per cent of that torque available from 3,500 rpm. The motorcycle gets five riding modes, a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control and cruise control.

It will be offered with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, in cast alloy or spoked configurations, both featuring tubeless tyres. Other touring-focused features include an adjustable windscreen, independent rider and pillion seats, and a payload capacity of 195 kg.

In Europe, the Himalayan 750 will be available in three configurations. The cast-wheel Aztec Green version is priced at €7,390 (approximately ₹7.9 lakh) in Italy and £6,999 (approximately ₹8.2 lakh) in the UK. The spoked-wheel versions, available in Viking Bronze and Siberia White, are priced at €7,790 (approximately ₹8.3 lakh) and £7,299 (approximately ₹8.6 lakh), respectively. The fully equipped Antarctic Silver flagship, which comes with bespoke luggage developed in collaboration with GIVI, costs €9,290 (approximately ₹9.9 lakh) and £8,699 (approximately ₹10.2 lakh), respectively.

Continental GT 750 unveiled in faired and unfaired versions

The Continental GT 750 was also unveiled at EICMA 2026, bringing a sportier interpretation of Royal Enfield’s café racer. It is powered by an uprated version of the new 743cc parallel-twin engine and is set to become the brand’s highest-performance production motorcycle to date.

The motorcycle will be available in both faired and unfaired configurations. While the unfaired version retains the traditional Continental GT silhouette, the faired variant gets a lower handlebar position for a more committed riding posture. Royal Enfield has also equipped the motorcycle with a hybrid twin-pod TFT display, while retaining an analogue-inspired riding experience with minimal electronic intervention.

The Continental GT 750 was showcased in three colour schemes: Red Line, TT Blue and Master Clean. Royal Enfield has not announced its launch timeline or pricing yet.

Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler showcased

Royal Enfield also showcased the Flying Flea S6, a scrambler-styled electric motorcycle that expands the brand’s City+ electric mobility vision beyond urban roads. Based on the lightweight construction and agile chassis of the Flying Flea C6, the S6 gets a high-torque electric motor and an enduro-style seat.

The motorcycle is designed to tackle a mix of urban conditions, including cobblestones, tram tracks and unfinished roads, while also offering some off-road capability. It features a round touchscreen display running Fleaware.OS, along with multiple riding modes and rider aids. The S6 also gets a dedicated off-road mode.

It will be offered in Dart Yellow and Lightning Grey, with its launch scheduled for summer 2027.

Shotgun 650 ‘Son of a Gun’ limited edition

In collaboration with custom motorcycle brand Deus Ex Machina, Royal Enfield unveiled the Shotgun 650 ‘Son of a Gun’. Based on a one-off custom motorcycle, the collaboration will result in a limited production run of just 100 units globally in 2027.

The motorcycle features a deep red, cream and gold paint scheme, contrast-cut alloy wheels, a brown leather seat with embroidered Deus branding and matching brown grips. It is powered by the familiar 650cc parallel-twin engine, which gets piano-black engine covers.

Each motorcycle will also be accompanied by a limited-edition Royal Enfield x Deus stone-washed sateen souvenir jacket, featuring heritage-inspired typography and a custom lining matching the motorcycle’s paintwork.

New 1901 apparel collection revealed

Royal Enfield also introduced its 1901 Apparel Collection, which marks the debut of the manufacturer’s refreshed brand identity. The new identity, featuring a redesigned Cannon motif, will gradually be introduced across its products, showrooms and dealerships globally.

The collection includes premium apparel with structured cuts, a heritage-inspired colour palette and exclusive limited-edition pieces.

With the Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750, Royal Enfield is expanding its 650cc twin-cylinder platform into a new displacement category, while the Flying Flea S6 signals its ambitions in electric mobility. The EICMA showcase also highlights the manufacturer’s continued focus on custom motorcycling and lifestyle products.
