Having sold 88,067 units, Suzuki Motorcycles India closed April 2024 domestic sales with a 31% growth rate. The bike maker says these are its highest-ever sales figures in the domestic market yet. For context, Suzuki’s domestic sales figures from April 2023 stand at 67,259 units.
The Japanese bike maker also recorded a 12% year-on-year growth in total sales, having sold 99,377 units. Suzuki’s cumulative sales in April 2023 were 88,731. While the domestic market continues to be a strong point for Suzuki, this time the number of imports fell down; from 21,472 units in April 2023, the bike maker moved just 11,310 units out this time. However, it is worth noting that Suzuki Motorcycles India recently achieved the 8-million cumulative two-wheeler production milestone.
In other news, Suzuki is planning to roll out an updated version of its best-seller; the Access. It also launched the 25th Anniversary Celebration version of the Hayabusa, which gets cosmetic upgrade. The V-Strom 800DE also came out in March, and we are coming with our review very soon!
