Ather Energy seems to be on quite a roll this year, having begun with a celebration of its tried-and-tested 450 platform with the 450 Apex, and now it has announced a major price reduction. If you are in Bengaluru, you can now buy the base Ather 450S with a price tag of Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom), and those in Delhi get an even sweeter deal; a price tag of Rs 97,500 (ex-showroom)!
But wait, there’s more; the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer has slashed prices of the 450S with the Pro Pack by Rs 25,000. This means you can now buy the 450S with the Pro Pack for Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). With this price arrangement, the Ather 450S (without the Pro Pack) now manages to undercut the likes of the Bajaj Chetak electric (Rs 1.15 lakh), TVS iQube and the iQube S, and the Ola S1 Air as well. However, the Ola S1 X continues to be more affordable than the base 450S.
