Skoda has officially launched its updated Kodiaq! Starting from Rs 35 lakh to Rs 37.49 lakh (both ex-showroom), you can choose between three trim levels: Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement. The new bits on the Kodiaq are in the form of new lights, grille and fresh interiors. Yes, it is still full of those clever touches as you’d expect on a Skoda.
Back in April 2020, Skoda decided to discontinue the Kodiaq from its Indian lineup and it’s been a while since then. This time, we agree that not much has changed, but the major change is that Kodiaq will no longer be available in a diesel powertrain. Yes, it will only be available in the 188-bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine, paired to a 7-speed DSG along with all-wheel drive as standard.
The interiors are just as spacious like before with three row of seats. It has features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad and a 12-speaker Canton sound system among other things.
The Kodiaq will have to deliver on its driving bit as it has plenty of competition in its price range. Well, we have reviewed its German sibling, the Volkswagen Tiguan, you can read all about it here. In the meantime, do stay tuned for our review detailed story on the Kodiaq.
