Kia’s unveiled the Seltos facelift, and it is available for pre-bookings from the 14th of July. It will be offered in three trims — Tech Line, GT Line and X Line. What’s new in the facelift, then?
On the design front, the Seltos gets a redesigned front bumper, new grille, LED headlights, along with new LED daytime running lights. As for the rear, it sports an L-shaped LED tail-light with an LED bar in the centre. Plus, the rear bumper gets dual exhaust tips and a faux skid plate. Inside, it features a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, an eight-way adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, and ambient lighting, to name a few. Oh, and it does get a panoramic sunroof, too. Kia has added Level 2 ADAS as well.
Under the hood, the Seltos is powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, automatic and a CVT. There’s also a new 158-bhp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine option on the cards, which can be paired with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT. Do stay tuned for more updates on the Seltos.
