Tamil film star Ajith Kumar is planning to enter the European GT4 championship in 2024, according to the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
Ajith is an avid motorsport enthusiast and has previously competed in the Asian Formula BMW Championship and the British Formula 3 Championship, where he secured podium finishes at Donington Park and Knockhill.
He has also raced in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Ajith’s journey began with motorcycle racing, having participated in the National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
Discussions with teams from the UK, Europe, and the Middle East are currently underway, as confirmed by FMSCI.
Meanwhile, Ajith’s startup, Venus Motorcycles, based in Chennai, is gearing up to offer motorcycle training, with a focus on women riders. The company’s first on-road training session, led by experienced motorcyclists, will begin in Chennai this month and expand to other cities soon.
