Nissan India has announced a new five-year/unlimited-mileage extended warranty for Datsun products in the country. As a part Datsun’s five-year-anniversary celebrations, the new extended warranty package is available to Datsun redi-GO, GO, and GO+ owners. The warranty package is called ‘Peace of mine’ package, and includes five benefits designed to make ownership a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience.
Said five benefits include free insurance for the first year of ownership, free road-side assistance (and even hotel and cab arrangements in case of a breakdown emergency), free pick-up and drop for the car for service, and special schemes for government employees.
But most importantly the package has a five-year warranty. It covers engine, AC compressor, ECU, alternator, suspension, etc. There’s no limit on the mileage, which should be a relief for those who use their Datsuns a lot. And should you decide to sell the car, you’d be glad to know that the extended warranty benefits are transferrable, too.
