Ferrari’s flagship hypercar, the LaFerrari, is now a few years old, so it is time to reveal the next variant – and it’s the convertible. As always, it’s going to be made in more limited numbers (150 to 200 only) and it’s going to cost a lot more. Power output remains 949 bhp, but the chassis and suspension have been tweaked to deal with the loss of the roof.
It is expected to retail at Rs 9.4 crore before taxes and duties (that’s approximately Rs 20 crore to the Indian buyer) but don’t rush to your bank just yet – all examples of the LaFerrari Spider have been spoken for already. It might not be the fastest convertible in the world, but it certainly is the fastest drop-top Ferrari ever, and that is a heck of a calling card by any standard.
