Honda Cars India has expanded its City lineup with the introduction of the Honda City Sport, priced at Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant is positioned as a more dynamic and stylish version of the fifth-generation City, catering to enthusiasts seeking a sportier appeal without compromising on the sedan’s premium features and reliability.

The City Sport builds on the standard City’s design but adds exclusive cosmetic enhancements to stand out. The exterior features a bold blacked-out grille, sleek side skirts, and a rear spoiler for a more aggressive stance. It rides on new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, adding a premium touch to its profile. Distinct ‘Sport’ badging on the rear and sides further differentiates it from the regular model. Inside, the cabin gets red accent stitching on the seats and steering wheel, enhancing its sporty character.

Under the hood, the City Sport retains the same powertrain options as the standard City. . The 1.5-litre NA petrol motor, churns out 119 bhp and 14.78 kgm torque. The gearbox in question is a seven-step CVT system. The sporty variant also comes loaded with premium features, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and Honda’s advanced safety suite with six airbags, ABS, and vehicle stability assist.
