Hyundai’s officially knighted its Creta and launched the Creta Knight Edition. As compared to the standard Creta, there are a few cosmetic modifications to the Knight Edition. This comprises a Black Gloss radiator grille with red inserts, Black Gloss front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, roof rails, ORVMs and tail light inserts.
It now comes with Dark Metal-coloured alloy wheels, red brake callipers and Dark Chrome Knight Edition badges. Inside, it gets a panoramic sunroof, an all-black interior and coloured AC vent inserts. The rest of things remain unchanged.
The 1.5-litre petrol engine in the Creta Knight Edition produces 113 bhp and 14.68 kgm. It comes with a 6-speed manual or an iMT transmission. The SUV also has a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 113 bhp and 25.49 kgm of torque. This engine comes with an option of a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is available in two trim levels — S+ and SX (O) — with prices starting at Rs. 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom) for the S+ petrol variant (6-speed manual) and go all the way up to Rs 18.18 lakh for the SX (O) diesel variant (6-speed auto).
In addition, Hyundai has made certain adjustments to the 2022 Creta lineup as well. All trim levels now come with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The iMT is now available on the 1.5-litre Petrol S trim, and the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with the 7-speed DCT is now available in a new ‘S+’ trim. You can now spec the Creta in a new shade of Denim Blue, and the glossy black centre console is now standard on SX (O) trims.
