Hyundai has introduced two new variants of its entry-level SUV, the Hyundai Exter; the S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT).
The Hyundai Exter is powered by the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, which generates 82 bhp at 6,000 pm and 11.7 kgm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with two gearbox options: the S(O)+ variant comes with a 5-speed manual transmission (MT), while the S+ variant is equipped with a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
The new Hyundai Exter features a smart electric sunroof, a digital display with a colour TFT multi-information display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, etc.
Safety has also received significant updates with the new Exter variants now equipped with 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, tyre pressure monitoring, etc.
Prices (ex-showroom) for the new variants are Rs. 7.86 lakh for the S(O)+ and Rs 8.43 lakh for S+ AMT.
