Hyundai is celebrating a successful year of its compact SUV, and while we don’t have news of any knighthood ceremonies (see what we did there?), the car maker has launched the Exter Knight Edition, with prices ranging between Rs 8.38 lakh to Rs 10.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The Exter Knight Edition will be available in the SX and the SX (O) trim.
So how is the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition different? It begins with two new paint schemes; Abyss Black, and Shadow Grey, with red accents on the front bumper and the tailgate, red brake callipers, blacked out badging, black skid plates on both ends, and a Knight Edition logo. Inside, the black-and-red treatment continues with the all-black upholstery, red ambient lighting, inserts, and contrast stitching. The upholstery itself is unique and limited to the Knight Edition, and you also get metal scuff plates, along with the door handles and steering finished in Satin Black.
However, the Exter Knight Edition retains the 1.2-litre powertrain, with 82 bhp and 11.6 kgm of torque on offer, paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. There are five monotone and two dual-tone paint options to choose from. The AMT variants can be purchased from Rs 9.05 lakh onwards (ex-showroom), which might be on your mind in case you’re from Mumbai, Bangalore, or Delhi.
