Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai, has launched the fourth season of its ‘Art for Hope‘ initiative. Over the last three seasons, this programme has supported under-represented and emerging artists with financial grants and a platform to showcase their talents.
The programme covers various art forms, including visual, digital, and performing arts, as well as traditional crafts.
Art for Hope also uses the platform to address pressing social issues such as climate change and human rights while ensuring inclusivity. This year, Art for Hope will focus on persons with disabilities.
Art for Hope Season 4 will provide 40 individual grants of Rs. 1 lakh and 10 institutional grants of Rs. 2 lakh to support artists and art collectives, amounting to just over Rs. 60 lakh.
Applications are open until 18 October 2024, with the grant showcase set for early 2025.
