BMW’s latest launch, the 2 Series GC gets the Black Shadow treatment. Limited to only 24 units, the Black Shadow Edition will be an exclusive acquisition. With a premium of Rs 90,000 over the M Sport edition’s ex-showroom price, the 2 Series GC Black Edition can be yours for Rs 42.3 lakh, ex-showroom.
Essentially you’re paying for its exclusivity and looks over the M Sport variant. This includes BMW’s M Performance parts like a blacked-out front grille, black ORVMs, gloss black boot lid spoiler, black chrome exhaust tips and 18-inch forged alloy wheels painted in Jet Black Matt colour. Oh, the wheels also get a floating hub cap, which keeps the BMW logo levelled all the time.
On the inside, things are rather unchanged. It features a panoramic sunroof, illuminated trim, ambient lighting, sport seats with memory function and the intuitive gesture control functions. Then you have a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. As for performance, it is still the same. How good is it? Aditya’s driven it; you can read his review here.
Well, if you are planning on buying one, book yours from BMW’s website on the 7th of December.
