Jaguar has made it official that the F-Pace is coming this month (October 20), and bookings for the same have begun already. And if you were in the market for a midsize SUV, with a starting price of Rs 68.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the F-Pace is likely to make quite some sense. Once you stop ogling at the beautiful design, that is…
While an outright performance orientated F-Pace SVR hasn’t made its presence on the global market, we’ll have to be content with the diesel-only line-up for the Indian market, which comprises a 2-litre, four-cylinder ‘Ingenium’ that makes 177bhp and a 3-litre 296bhp V6 unit. The aluminium-intensive construction and an almost 50:50 weight distribution should make the F-Pace fun to drive as well.
There will be four trim levels, namely Pure (priced at Rs 68.4 lakh), Prestige (Rs 74.5 lakh), R-Sport (Rs 1.02 crore) and First Edition (priced at Rs 1.12 crore). The former two will be available only with the smaller, 2-litre unit while the latter two with the V6 diesel. Apart from a myriad of options, if you’re looking for exclusivity it’s going to be the First Edition.
The F-Pace can either be booked online at JLR’s new online booking website: Findmeacar.in, or any of the 23 dealerships in the country.
