Adding to the current petrol-only range of the Jaguar XE, the company has launched a diesel engined version of the executive saloon. Priced at Rs 38.25 lakh onwards, it is available in three trim levels (namely Pure, Prestige, and Portfolio), and is on sale at all 24 authorised dealerships across the country.
Like the petrol derivative, it continues with the aluminium architecture, an eight-speed automatic gearbox, 380-watt Meridian sound system, a touchscreen infotainment system, and even a sliding panoramic sunroof. Some of the features are variant-specific, though.
Talking about the new launch, JLR India’s MD, Rohit Suri, said, “The XE has been a very successful model from the Jaguar family and with the Jaguar XE diesel, we are confident of further expanding our customer base in the country.”
The petrol version starts at Rs 37.25 lakh onwards. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
