The Lamborghini Miura turns 60 this year, and to celebrate the milestone, the Italian marque has unveiled a limited edition of its flagship supercar, the Revuelto. Dubbed the ‘Revuelto Miura 60 Homage’, it is created through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalisation division and gets bespoke styling, heritage-inspired colours and exclusive interior detailing.
The biggest visual changes come in the form of new two-tone graphics inspired by the original Miura. It gets contrast decals running along the lower half of the body, stretching from the front splitter to behind the rear wheels and depending on the chosen exterior colour, buyers can opt for either gold or silver alloy wheels. The Revuelto Miura 60 Homage will be offered in nine heritage-inspired paint finishes, all borrowed from the Miura’s original colour palette. These include Rosso Arancio, Arancio, Giallo, Verde Scandal, Verde Metallic, Blu Tahiti, Blu Notte, Nero Noctis and Bianco Monocerus. Every car also gets discreet ‘Miura 60’ badging on the lower sill, along with black Lamborghini logos, black brake calipers and black exhaust tips.
Inside, the retro theme continues with tan leather upholstery and ‘cannelloni’ ribbed inserts on the seats and door cards. The rear bulkhead is trimmed in leather and embroidered with a large ‘Miura 60’ logo, while a carbonfibre plaque on the dashboard identifies each car as one of the 99 examples being built.
Mechanically, however, nothing has changed. The Revuelto Miura 60 Homage retains the standard car’s plug-in hybrid powertrain, which pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 with three electric motors to produce a combined 1001 bhp. Power continues to be sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. For perspective, that’s a massive 651 bhp more than the original Miura produced six decades ago.
Lamborghini hasn’t revealed pricing yet, but expect the Miura 60 Homage to command a healthy premium over the standard Revuelto, which already costs Rs 8.7 crore (ex-showroom) in India, before options. We’d certainly love to see at least one of the 99 examples make its way to our shores. The limited-run special edition will make its public debut at Monterey Car Week later this month, and for the lucky 99 owners, it won’t be yet another Revuelto parked in their garage — it’ll be an apt modern tribute to the V12 icon that started Lamborghini’s supercar legacy.
