Lexus India has launched a new limited edition variant of the LC 500h at a price of Rs 2.50 crore (ex-showroom). While it remains mechanically identical to the standard LC 500h (if you can ever use the word “standard” for an LC 500h, that is!), the Lexus LC 500h Limited Edition receives mostly minor cosmetic and interior tweaks.

The Lexus LC 500h Limited Edition retains its iconic shape and silhouette that will make it stand out from every other car on Indian roads (and we mean ‘every’ other car, ask Pablo!). However, this limited edition LC 500h can be had in a new Hakugin paint scheme, featuring a base white colour with the addition of matte finish and a top coat of satin lacquer. Complementing this paint job is the jet black-finished grille, 21-inch alloy wheels finished in matte black, a carbonfibre fixed rear wing and the use of black inserts on exterior elements, which are otherwise finished in chrome.

Onto the interiors then, which now receive a new Kachi-Blue interior upholstery, replacing the beige leather and suede upholstery from the standard LC 500h. However, there are no changes in terms of the interior layout. It retains the 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system with voice commands, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, ventilated seats with eight-level electronic adjustability, one-touch walk-in function, and two-level electronic lumbar support. Additionally, it also gets a head-up display, cruise control, a cabin air purifier and a bunch of safety features among other things.

Under the hood, however, the Lexus LC 500h Limited Edition gets the same 3.5-litre V6 hybrid engine with 354 bhp and 35.6 kgm of torque, taking five seconds to reach triple digits, and returning a staggering claimed figure of 12.3 kmpl.
