Back when the Bolero Neo+ was known as the TUV300 Plus, it was intended as a replacement to the Bolero XL and its predecessors such as the Mahindra Maxx, countless examples of which still rule the mountains of Uttarakhand today. However, the TUV300 Plus didn’t exactly take off. Mahindra has now launched the Bolero Neo+ 9-seater SUV with prices starting from Rs 11.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Bolero Neo+ will be offered in two variants: the P4 and the premium P10. It combines the characteristics of the Bolero with a new design and more features compared to the Neo, and of course, more space. Mahindra states that the car will cater to large families, corporate clients, tour operators, and contractors leasing vehicles to corporations.
The Mahindra Bolero Neo+ is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with Micro-Hybrid Technology. The SUV will feature updated safety features such as ABS with EBD, dual airbags, ISOFIX children’s seating, engine immobilizer and others from the Neo.
The Bolero Neo+ offers a 8.9-inch touch screen infotainment system with bluetooth, USB, and aux connectivity. Additional conveniences include an anti-glare IRVM, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. A seating configuration of 9 seats in a 2-3-4 pattern.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., stated that the Bolero brand has earned a reputation for reliability and robustness among customers, consistently surpassing expectations. With the introduction of the Bolero Neo+, Mahindra offers durability, advanced features, and superior comfort, enriching the driving experience for families and fleet owners.
